Dharma Sanctuary
Where Nature Reminds Us Who We Are
There are places we visit, and places that quietly change us.
Dharma Sanctuary is a small nature sanctuary on Koh Pha Ngan, Thailand, opening in 2027. It is a place to reconnect with yourself through nature, mindful living, and genuine human connection.
We are not building another retreat resort. We are creating a place to slow down.
Where mornings begin with birdsong.
Where meals are shared in gratitude.
Where silence is welcome and laughter comes naturally.
Where nature is respected rather than consumed.
Where people leave more peaceful than when they arrived.

Our Mission
To help people remember what matters most in this lifetime, and to live more consciously, compassionately, and fully.
Through meditation, yoga, nourishing food, teachings, honest conversation, and time outdoors, we offer experiences that support wellbeing long after guests return home.
Our Vision
A living sanctuary where nature, community, mindfulness, and simple living exist in harmony. The land is cared for with gratitude, local communities are respected and supported, and every decision reflects kindness, integrity, and sustainability.
We will not measure success by visitor numbers. We will measure it by the peace people carry home, the relationships we nurture, and our impact on the land.
Simply put: a sanctuary that gives more than it takes.

What We Will Offer
A small, intimate space with simple rooms and shared accommodation. Daily yoga and meditation classes, open to guests and the island community. Short courses in meditation and self discovery, workshops with visiting facilitators, and time in nature for rest, reflection, and silence.
Our Philosophy
Transformation rarely comes from doing more. It begins by slowing down, breathing deeply, listening, and sharing simple moments with others.
Nature reminds us that nothing needs to be rushed. The strongest trees grow patiently. Rivers follow their course. Gardens flourish with love and consistency. Dharma Sanctuary will reflect these same qualities.

An Invitation
If this vision resonates with you, we would be honoured to begin a conversation. Whether you are a future guest, a teacher, a local partner, or someone who believes in creating more peaceful places, thank you for visiting.
Every meaningful journey begins with a single conversation. Perhaps this is ours.
With gratitude,
Founder, Dharma Sanctuary

Where We Are Now
We are preparing the land and buildings, and we are growing slowly and carefully. We will open with a few rooms, learn from our first guests, and expand only when each stage is working well. If you would like to hear when we open, or to teach, collaborate, or support the project, we would love to hear from you.
Who We Are
Mukti, founder, lived on Koh Pha Ngan from 2021 to 2023 and has led retreats in Thailand and Switzerland, and co-led retreats in Ireland with Didi. Warren, project co-ordinator, is an ERYT 500 yoga teacher and teacher trainer who has lived on Koh Pha Ngan for eight years. Before that, he spent 20 years building and leading organisations across Asia and Africa.
Our Guiding Principle
Leave every person and every place better than you found them.
May you be free from suffering.
May you find strength.
May you be held in compassion.
May you know peace.
May all beings be happy and free.
May our work, offered with pure intention, help all beings toward happiness and freedom.
